The artist is creating ambiences of peculiar gravity, spaces which narrate with suspense on the one hand and reveal a wide, calm timelessness on the other hand.
Maxwell Dunlop, born in 1983, grew up on the coast of southern New England. He studied painting at the Art Institute of Boston and received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from 2001-2005. He lives and works in the USA and Berlin. His works are shown notably in America and Germany.
