Markus Klinko

Markus Klinko, an award-winning international fashion/celebrity photographer and director, has garnered acclaim for working with numerous iconic stars of film, music, and fashion, including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, David Bowie, and Jennifer Lopez.
Born in Switzerland of French, Italian, Jewish, and Hungarian descent, Klinko was a classical harp soloist before a hand injury pivoted his career toward fashion photography. He has received accolades in both his music and photography careers, including the Grand Prix de Disque for his harp music recording and widespread recognition for his innovative album covers, such as Beyonce’s “Dangerously in Love.”
Klinko’s journey in photography was marked by opportunities from Isabella Blow and Ingrid Sischy, leading to significant collaborations with Iman, David Bowie, and other celebrities. His work, featured in the coffee table book ICONS and exhibited worldwide, continues to be a significant influence in photography.
